Mid of 2nd week

Yep! It's already the 2nd week of Summer session. The online class is relatively easy but it does require steady sign in habit to make sure there aren't any new discussion to be had. If not, one may fall behind on them and that wouldn't be good since group discussion is 40% of my grade.

Anywhoo, the animation class is, well, interesting...I'm really glad that I did spend some time looking at tutorials before the class started. I need to get my character started today since we are expect to have one drawn up for the next class, which is tomorrow. I've decided to go with a simpler character and not have too many clothing, maybe just some boots and a gadget or something. It'll be a little alien, Q-size (for those who don't know, Q = Cute; it's one of those chinese thing). I need to put up sketches for my website, because it is empty right now. I did some sketches of myself yesterday and felt pretty good; I definitely need to get back into the mood of drawing though. I enjoy it for the most part and it does feel pretty good when it comes out looking like the subject even though sketching is meant to be a form of exercise. But I don't want to be drawing like a kindergardener at a graduate level courses.
